  • Biography

    Mrs. Rina Suprina has been working at Trisakti School of Tourism, Jakarta since 1999. Currently she serves as Head of Research and Community Service Centre. Prior to her present position,  she worked as Head of Undergraduate Program in Hospitality and Tourism. She is also in charge of the project collaborated with Tropical Forest Conservation Action (TFCA) Sumatera to develop ecotourism in Siberut Island, Mentawai, in which she has a duty as the Project Manager.

    She earned two master’s degree, namely Master of Science in Tourism and Master of Humaniora in  English Applied Lingustics. In 2012 she earned scholarship from Fulbright to join Community College for Faculty and Administrator Program in Seattle, USA.

    Her teaching and research interests are English for Specific Purposes, cross cultural communication, Community Based Tourism and Tourist Destination Management. She presented her research in various seminars such as CamTesol in Cambodja in 2013, Tourism, Gastronomy, and Destination International Conference (TGDIC) in Jakarta in 2016, Siliwangi International English Conference (SIEC) in Tasikmalaya in 2016, ASEAN Tourism Research Conference (ATRA) in Singapore in 2017, and CATEA International Conference in Jakarta in 2019.
